Fatal motorcycle collision in Venezuela and rising road insecurity in Argentina

In Venezuela, two minors died following a collision between a motorcycle and a tanker truck on Troncal 5 in Socopó, Antonio José de Sucre municipality. The accident occurred late Tuesday night near the Villarreal service station. Preliminary investigations suggest the rider may have lost control of the vehicle, leading to the impact. Both victims suffered severe traumatic brain injuries and died at the scene. Authorities from the CPNB's Traffic Accident Investigation Division (Diatt) managed the scene and transferred the bodies to the Senamecf morgue for autopsy.

In Argentina, delivery workers from Pedidos Ya have reported increasing dangers regarding motorcycle traffic and insecurity. Workers claim that groups of motorcyclists frequently occupy both lanes and perform dangerous maneuvers, forcing delivery riders toward sidewalks to avoid collisions. Additionally, reports indicate a rise in thefts, including an incident where a worker's motorcycle was stolen while they were actively performing deliveries.
