Fatal motorcycle collision kills one in Clorinda, Argentina
At around 03:00 a.m. on Sunday, a head‑on collision between two 110 cc motorcycles occurred at the intersection of San Vicente de Paul and Bolivia streets in Clorinda, Formosa Province. One rider, 36 years old, was killed on the spot, while the second rider was taken to the local Hospital "Doctor Cruz Felipe Arnedo" with serious injuries and remains in intensive care. Police reported the surviving motorcyclist tested positive for alcohol. The scene was secured by officers of the Sub‑Inspector Idelfonso Vera Police Station, and forensic experts from the Delegación de Policía Científica conducted measurements, photographs and a planimetry of the crash. Magistrate Mariela Isabel Portales of the local circuit court oversaw the investigation, ordering the removal of the deceased’s body for autopsy.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash, including the role of alcohol consumption and the exact dynamics of the frontal impact.
