Fatal motorcycle crash kills 25‑year‑old Elisa Bozzano in Genoa

On the evening of 17 June, 25‑year‑old Elisa Bozzano, a driver for Amt, was riding her Kawasaki Z650 on via Perlasca in Genoa when a Lancia Ypsilon traveling in the opposite lane collided head‑on with her motorcycle. The impact threw her several metres, she lost her helmet and was found dead on the asphalt despite immediate assistance from emergency services.

The driver of the car, a 30‑year‑old man, was taken to Villa Scassi Hospital in stable condition. Police investigators seized both vehicles, Bozzano’s helmet and the victims’ mobile phones, and are working to reconstruct the accident dynamics. The case will now be examined by the prosecutor to determine any responsibility.
