Fatal motorcycle crashes kill two in Rondônia and a teen in Roraima, Brazil

Two young men were killed on Thursday, November 11, when a motorcycle they were riding collided with a pickup truck on the BR‑364 near Jaru, Rondônia. The victims, 22‑year‑old Patrick Gonçalves de Oliveira and 18‑year‑old Jhuan Oliveira de Jesus, were on their way to a wedding ceremony that had been scheduled for the following weekend.

On the night of Saturday, November 13, a separate accident occurred on the Vicinal do Itã near Caracaraí, Roraima. Seventeen‑year‑old Ruan Albuquerque da Silva was riding his motorcycle when a bovine crossed the road, causing a fatal collision. The animal fled the scene, and the teenager died at the spot.

Both incidents prompted investigations by local police and generated mourning in their respective communities.
