Fatal road accidents reported in Alfianello and on the A30 motorway

Two separate fatal traffic accidents have been reported in Italy.

In Alfianello, 27-year-old Paolo Marazzi died on Monday following a car accident that occurred three days prior. Marazzi was traveling in a Volkswagen Golf with a friend when the vehicle left the road and overturned into a ditch. Despite efforts by medical staff at Papa Giovanni di Bergamo Hospital, he could not be saved. His family has authorized organ donation, and his funeral is scheduled for Thursday in Vescovato.

On the A30 Caserta-Salerno motorway near the Sarno exit, 59-year-old Luisa Cerrato was killed after exiting her vehicle to inspect damage following a collision. While she was checking the vehicle, she was struck by another car. The Procura di Nocera Inferiore has opened an investigation into road homicide, and authorities are examining whether roadworks or lane narrowings contributed to the incident.
