Fatal road accidents reported in India and Pakistan

Multiple fatal road accidents have been reported in India and Pakistan within a short timeframe.

In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, a pickup vehicle carrying devotees overturned on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway after being struck from behind by a speeding canter. The accident resulted in 12 deaths, including six men, three women, and three children, while more than 19 others were injured. The victims were reportedly traveling from Bagad Dham in Rajasthan to Budaun.

In Pakistan, two separate incidents caused nine deaths and 68 injuries within 24 hours. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a collision between a truck and a four-wheeler in the Sakha Kot area killed two young men and injured eight others. Additionally, in the Punjab province, a collision involving a tractor-trailer in the Rahim Yar Khan district left seven people dead and 60 others injured. Local authorities attributed the Punjab incident to driver negligence.
