Fatal road accidents reported in Madagascar and France

Two separate fatal motorcycle accidents occurred on National Road 1 in Madagascar. In Anosizato Antanimenakely, a motorcyclist died instantly after being struck and crushed by a truck traveling in the opposite direction. A second accident took place near Ambodiafontsy, where a Kymco G6 scooter collided with a broken-down heavy goods vehicle parked on the roadside, resulting in the death of a rider aged between 30 and 35.

In France, a 41-year-old truck driver died in Lorraine on Monday morning. The accident involved an oversized convoy consisting of a flatbed truck transporting railway rails. The vehicle overturned and landed in a ditch on the RD 15 between Norroy-le-Sec and Landres. Emergency responders performed a lengthy extraction process, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the crash.
