Fatal road collisions in Argentina claim two lives

A woman died after a severe head‑on crash on Route 88 near Batán, Santa Cruz, when a Renault Clio collided with a Ford F‑100. Emergency crews rescued the trapped driver, but medical personnel confirmed she had died at the scene. The driver of the Ford was conscious and was taken for medical evaluation.

In a separate incident on Provincial Route 34 near Trevelín, 49‑year‑old Karina Alvarado was killed when her Ford Fiesta struck a Toyota Hilux head‑on. The collision caused both vehicles to roll over. Two other occupants were hospitalized, and police, fire volunteers and forensic teams secured the site for investigation. Both accidents prompted extensive emergency responses and vehicle seizure for forensic analysis.
