Two separate traffic accidents on Brazilian highways resulted in multiple fatalities. On the BR-265 between São João del‑Rei and Barroso, a car collided head‑on with a truck after allegedly entering the opposite lane, killing a local couple, Renato and Dorinha, and critically injuring a seven‑year‑old child who remains hospitalized.
