Fatal traffic accident near Lukovit, Bulgaria

A 72-year-old woman died while being transported to a hospital following a collision between a passenger car and a truck near Lukovit. The accident occurred around 13:00 on the Lukovit - Cherven Bryag road.

Local authorities from the Lovech Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have initiated pre-trial proceedings. The crash has resulted in traffic restrictions in the area, with vehicles being diverted through a detour via Radomirtsi and Ruptsi. The Road Infrastructure Agency has urged drivers to exercise increased caution and maintain appropriate speeds in the region.
