Fatal traffic accident on Route PY03 near Emboscada

A fatal traffic accident occurred at kilometer 28 of Route PY03 General Elizardo Aquino, on the border between the cities of Emboscada and Limpio. The collision involved a Scania R420 tractor-trailer carrying leather and a Kia Soluto automobile.

Hugo Rafael Meza Medina, 50, the driver of the Kia, died at the scene due to severe injuries after being trapped in the vehicle. The driver of the truck, 56-year-old Lorenzo Alberto Portillo Rojas, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a medical center. The accident resulted in the truck overturning and the car being crushed beside the road.

The Public Ministry has been notified and has requested forensic experts to investigate the circumstances of the crash. The deceased was taken to the Emboscada Health Center for an autopsy.
