Fatal traffic accidents reported in Colombia and Venezuela

Two separate fatal traffic accidents have been reported in Colombia and Venezuela.

In the Apiay district of Villavicencio, Colombia, Luis Pérez Preciado died early Wednesday morning after losing control of a motorcycle cargo vehicle. The vehicle plunged into a stream, and the impact was fatal. Authorities are investigating whether road conditions, mechanical failure, or human error caused the accident.

In Aragua state, Venezuela, 44-year-old Oswaldo José Márquez Maldonado died on Sunday afternoon after his Mitsubishi vehicle struck a wall on the Cagua-La Villa highway. A female passenger sustained multisystem trauma and a broken arm but is reported to be in stable condition at the Maracay Central Hospital.
