In Lima, Peru, a dentistry student named Valery Tatiana Perales died after being struck by a motorcycle in the Los Olivos district. The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as Edson Reyes Calderón, a sub-officer of the National Police of Peru (PNP) who was off duty at the time. The victim's family has called for a transparent investigation, alleging that the driver attempted to flee the scene and that the motorcycle lacked proper registration and insurance.
