Fatal traffic accidents reported in Goiás and Paraná

Two separate fatal traffic accidents were reported in Brazil over the weekend.

In Caçu, Goiás, 37-year-old Fabiana Silva Dias, a resident of Cassilândia, died following an incident in the early hours of Sunday. Authorities found her body at an intersection in the São Paulo neighborhood. Initial investigations suggest the accident may have involved a motorcycle, as a blue motorcycle was found nearby, though the exact circumstances remain under investigation by the Civil Police.

In Arapongas, Paraná, 22-year-old Geovana Eduarda Fogaça de Lima died at Honpar Hospital after her vehicle collided violently with a utility pole on Sunday morning. Security footage captured the car losing control before the impact, which left the vehicle completely destroyed. Her husband, who was driving, was also injured and remains hospitalized. The causes of the crash are currently being investigated.
