Fatal traffic accidents reported in Maracay and Sucre

Two separate fatal traffic accidents occurred in Venezuela on Saturday, October 31.

In Maracay, Aragua state, an elderly woman died following an incident on Avenida Bolívar at the intersection with Calle Libertad. Security camera footage captured the moment the woman fell onto the central island of the avenue as a private vehicle passed through the area. It remains unclear from the footage whether the vehicle directly struck the victim, and authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the fall.

In Sucre state, a young couple died in a motorcycle accident on Troncal 10 in the Costilla de Vaca sector. The victims, identified as 29-year-old Luis Alejandro Tovar and Riccy Gamboa, were traveling from Maturín to Carúpano when they lost control of their motorcycle and collided with another vehicle. Tovar passed away shortly after being transported to the Santos Aníbal Dominicci hospital, while Gamboa died at the scene.
