Fatal traffic accidents reported in Santander and Tolima

In Tolima, 28-year-old Daniela Flórez Mendoza, originally from Bogotá, died after her Honda motorcycle struck a metal guardrail on the road between El Espinal and Flandes. The accident occurred near the Los Chorros entrance during daylight hours on a dual carriageway. While authorities are still determining the exact cause, local speculation has raised concerns regarding potential criminal activity, though no official confirmation of a robbery attempt has been made.
