Fatal workplace accidents reported in Mexico and Argentina

Two separate fatal incidents involving workers have been reported in Mexico and Argentina.

In Puebla, Mexico, a mechanic between 45 and 50 years old died on Saturday after being crushed by an AU line bus. The accident occurred on Carmen Serdán Boulevard when the vehicle unexpectedly shifted while the man was performing repairs underneath it. Preliminary reports suggest the supports used to elevate the bus may have failed. Authorities closed the boulevard temporarily to conduct investigations and remove the vehicle.

In Pacheco, Argentina, a worker died at the Ford plant. Employees have raised concerns regarding the medical attention provided to the individual before the incident. According to worker reports, the man felt unwell and was treated by the company's medical service with a pill before being sent back to his station, where he died minutes later. Workers are demanding a full investigation into the medical evaluation and the decision to allow him to continue working.
