Fatalities and critical injuries reported in separate traffic accidents

Two separate traffic accidents have resulted in a fatality in Peru and a critical injury in Mexico.

In Cerro Colorado, Peru, an 18-year-old woman, Heidi Salomé Merma Curo, died following a collision between a taxi and a truck transporting gas cylinders. The impact occurred near the Chávez Bedoya and Javier de Luna Pizarro associations. The taxi driver, Freddy Velasco Paucara, was hospitalized with multiple contusions and a fractured rib, while the truck driver, Renzo Alexis Silva Quispe, also received medical treatment.

In Mexico, 19-year-old motorcyclist Jesús Christopher Orozco Cruz is in intensive care at Hospital Amparo Pape de Benavides after colliding with a white Ford pickup truck. The accident occurred when the motorcyclist attempted to overtake the vehicle near a convenience store. Authorities noted that the young man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the impact, which contributed to severe head injuries.
