Fatalities reported in Venezuela and Spain

In Venezuela, a motorcycle accident on the Aribí road south of Maturín resulted in the death of Henry Guatarasma, a local casabe producer. Guatarasma was traveling with his 14-year-old son when the collision occurred. While initial reports suggested the crash involved a cow, family members have expressed skepticism, noting the absence of an animal or blood at the scene, referring to the incident as a ‘ghost cow’ due to the lack of evidence. The victim's son is receiving medical treatment at the Hospital Universitario Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar.

In Spain, the photography community is mourning the death of Julio González, the Head of Photography at Diario de Cádiz. González had served the publication for over 25 years, recognized for his ability to capture the reality of Cádiz through photojournalism. His passing was noted by the newspaper's director, Juan Manuel Marqués.
