FATAR celebrates 70 years of musical keyboard innovation

FATAR, a leading designer and manufacturer of musical keyboard mechanisms, celebrated its 70th anniversary on September 4 in Recanati, Italy. Founded in 1956 by Lino Ragni, the company has grown from its local roots to become a global reference point in the music technology industry.

The anniversary event included a tour of the FATAR facility, where guests observed the production processes and technologies used to create keyboard mechanics. A special exhibition was also organized within the Museo del Synth Marchigiano, highlighting the electronic musical instruments born in the Marche region and the area's industrial contribution to electronic music evolution.

CEO Marco Ragni, who also serves as the president of Confindustria Macerata, addressed attendees, dedicating the milestone to his father, Lino Ragni, and the workforce that built the company's history. The celebration was attended by employees, clients, partners, and local institutional representatives, including the Mayor of Recanati, Emanuele Pepa.
