Fatboy Slim reveals he has never been paid to play Glastonbury

DJ Fatboy Slim, also known as Norman Cook, stated in a recent interview that he has never been paid to perform at the Glastonbury Festival. Despite having played the event more than 100 times since his debut in 1986, Cook noted that he has also never paid for admission.

Cook explained that organizers Emily and Michael Eavis provide him with free tickets and the opportunity to perform unofficial, smaller sets in various locations. He described the festival as a “beautiful human experience of alternative culture” that has not been “tarnished by money.”

Regarding future lineups, Cook suggested that Fred again.. should headline the Pyramid Stage in 2027. Meanwhile, the festival recently announced that ticket prices for the next edition will increase by nearly 10%, setting at £408.
