Fate/Extra Record announced for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

Developers TYPE-MOON and TYPE-MOON studio BB have announced that Fate/Extra Record, a remake of the original 2010 Fate series RPG, is scheduled to launch on January 28, 2027, for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

A new character trailer has been released spotlighting Saber, a highly skilled swordsman voiced by Sakura Tange. The game is set in SE. RA. PH, a digital virtual world on the moon, where 128 Masters and their Servant partners compete in the Moon Holy Grail War to claim an omnipotent wish-granting artifact.

The remake features revamped character graphics, an expanded scenario, and a strategic command battle system centered on deck-building. Players take on the role of a Master to explore dungeons, gather intelligence on rivals, and uncover the true names of opposing Servants.
