Fate/EXTRA Record set for release on January 28, 2027

The release date for Fate/EXTRA Record, a full remake of the 2010 PSP RPG, has been officially set for January 28, 2027. Developed by TYPE-MOON and Meteorise, and published by Aniplex, the title will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

This reimagined version features a modernized 3D presentation using Unreal Engine and introduces a strategic turn-based combat system centered on deck-building. Set in the digital world of SE. RA. PH on the moon, the game follows 128 Masters and their Servants—digital embodiments of historical heroes—competing in a Holy Grail War.

Localization efforts include support for multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Korean, and Chinese. Physical editions are being prepared, with specific distribution details for various regions, such as Marvelous in Europe and specialized formats for the Nintendo Switch 2.
