Fathan Subchi, Indonesian Audit Board Member, Dies in Moscow

Fathan Subchi, a member of the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK) for the 2024–2029 period, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the age of 56. He died while performing auditing duties in Moscow, Russia.

The Indonesian Embassy in Russia is expected to escort his remains back to Jakarta. According to Ahmad Iman Sukri, Vice Chairman of the DPR RI Legislative Body, the body is expected to arrive in Jakarta on Monday. Following his arrival, the remains will be held and prayed for at the BPK RI office before being moved to a funeral home in Condet, East Jakarta. He is scheduled to be buried in his hometown in Central Java.
