Father José Mota installed as parish priest of Repeses

Father José Mota has officially assumed his new pastoral mission as the parish priest of Repeses. The installation ceremony was presided over by António Luciano, the Bishop of Viseu.

Mota succeeds Father António Henrique, who has returned to Rome to complete his studies. In his address, Bishop Luciano encouraged the new priest to serve with humility and sacrifice, reflecting on the biblical call to teach, sanctify, and govern.

Father José Mota will balance his new responsibilities in Repeses with his existing roles as the rector of the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo in Viseu and chaplain of the CUF Viseu Hospital.
