Fatih Erbakan discusses 'Terror-Free Turkey' process in Diyarbakır
Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan addressed the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process during a meeting in Diyarbakır. Erbakan stated that the party's priority is the immediate liquidation of the terrorist organization, the surrender of weapons, and the establishment of peace and tranquility.
He emphasized that the party has supported unity and brotherhood for 60 years and would not oppose any process that leads to peace. Erbakan also suggested that such a process should be subject to a national referendum to ensure democratic legitimacy rather than being decided through political negotiations behind closed doors.
During his visit, Erbakan also highlighted economic concerns in Diyarbakır, noting that the city ranks 66th in the development index and that 43% of its youth are neither in education nor employed.
