Fatih Koru Parkı opens in Sancaktepe, Istanbul

Fatih Koru Parkı, a new 20,000-square-meter social and sporting area, has officially opened in the Fatih neighborhood of Sancaktepe, Istanbul. The facility is designed to meet the social and athletic needs of local residents across all age groups.

The park features a variety of amenities, including a social cafe, walking paths, landscaped areas, a Child Development Center, playgrounds, a football pitch, a basketball court, and an open-air amphitheater.

During the opening ceremony, Sancaktepe Mayor Alper Yeğin emphasized the municipality's commitment to providing equal and fair service to all neighborhoods. The event included a concert by artist Yılmaz Cesur and the distribution of sports equipment to children.
