Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge jumper rescued from Bosphorus
A person was rescued from the Bosphorus after jumping from the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge in Istanbul. Witnesses on the bridge initially mistook the commotion and stopped traffic for a film shoot, but realized the gravity of the situation when an individual wearing a motorcycle helmet and slippers jumped from the railings.
Eren Acar and a companion, who were in a boat on the water at the time, noticed the activity and rushed to the scene. They pulled the unconscious individual from the water and transported them to a nearby pier. Upon reaching the pier, the person was observed breathing and was subsequently treated by medical teams before being transported to a hospital by ambulance. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
