Fatma Zehra Önen, daughter of AK Party MP, has passed away

Fatma Zehra Önen, the daughter of AK Party Şanlıurfa Member of Parliament Abdülkadir Emin Önen, has passed away. She had been experiencing health issues following a surgical procedure performed last year.

Önen, a third-year French Language and Literature student at Galatasaray University, was receiving treatment in intensive care before her death. Her funeral is scheduled to take place at the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque, followed by burial at Kilyos Cemetery.

Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş and AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik both issued messages of condolence, expressing their sadness over the loss and offering sympathy to the Önen family.
