Fatsa Vocational Training Center opens 11 new workshops

Eleven new workshops were inaugurated at the Fatsa Vocational Training Center (MESEM) in Ordu, Turkey. The expansion aims to provide students with practical training opportunities across various professional fields.

The new facilities cover diverse sectors, including metalwork, furniture, electricity, informatics, food and beverage services, motor mechanics, graphics and photography, machinery, fashion design, plumbing, and beauty and hair care. The project was supported by various local donors and organizations.

During the ceremony, which coincided with Ahilik Week, local officials including Governor Muammer Erol and Fatsa Mayor İbrahim Etem Kibar attended. Ayhan Baş, President of the Fatsa Artisans Credit and Guarantee Cooperative Chamber, noted that the center serves over 2,000 students arriving from surrounding districts such as Korgan, Kumru, Aybastı, Çamaş, and Çatalpınar.
