Malaysian actor Fattah Amin announced that he is pursuing legal action against a Threads account operating under the name “Musang Berjanggut” for posting false claims that his child's school fees were overdue. He urged the public to report the account and said he has already lodged complaints with the Royal Malaysia Police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, though no response has been received. Fellow actor Kamal Adli voiced support, condemning the account’s harassment. The controversy emerged after media attention on Fattah’s separation from former wife Fazura during a school event for their child. Both actors highlighted concerns about privacy, defamation and the spread of misinformation on social media.
