Fauda Season 5 set to premiere on Netflix in September 2026

The Israeli political thriller series ‘Fauda’ is scheduled to return for its fifth season on Netflix on September 8, 2026. The announcement was shared by the Israeli Embassy in India via its official X account.

Created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, the upcoming 11-episode season is set two years after the October 7, 2023, attacks. The plot follows the character Doron Kavillio, played by Raz, as he deals with PTSD and becomes involved in an unsanctioned revenge mission in Marseille, France.

Following the events of October 7, the creators reportedly underwent a creative overhaul, rewriting original scripts to focus more heavily on themes of trauma, war, and the cycle of revenge. Returning cast members include Itzik Cohen, Doron Ben-David, and Yaakov Zada Daniel, with Melanie Laurent and Hakim Djaziri joining the cast.
