Faulkner University implements campus-wide IT and security upgrades

Faulkner University is undergoing extensive technology and facility upgrades across its campus. The IT department is replacing or upgrading all computer labs and equipping over 80 faculty members with Windows 11 systems. In total, more than 400 units are being transitioned from Windows 10 to Windows 11, covering key areas such as the Johnson Library, the Computer Science department, and various classrooms and dorm labs.

Physical and security enhancements are also being implemented, including the installation of large LED screens in the Gym, the Rotunda, and Harris. To improve campus safety and cybersecurity, the university is installing new cameras and enhanced door access systems in multiple buildings at the front of the campus.
