Faustino Alanis presents ‘Los días de Poncho’ at FICM

Director Faustino Alanis is presenting his debut film, ‘Los días de Poncho’, at the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). The coming-of-age story is inspired by Alanis’s personal experiences, specifically exploring themes of masculinity and the relationship between sons and fathers through the lens of a specific trade.

The protagonist is a young man who engages in street rap and freestyle battles, reflecting the director's own passion for art and the tension between creative pursuits and adult responsibilities. The film features Alex Shuarma in the lead role.
