Fausto Pizzoccheri, the founder and inventor of the confectionery company Piuma d'Oro, has passed away at the age of 86.

Founded in 1961 in Treviglio, the company underwent a significant transformation under Pizzoccheri's leadership. He transitioned the family business from producing gnocchi and tortellini to becoming a leader in Italy and Europe for traditional carnival snacks, specifically 'chiacchiere'.

Colleagues and community members noted his ability to combine professional tenacity with a sincere respect for people, emphasizing that trust was the foundation of his professional relationships. He built the business alongside his wife, Maria Scolari, maintaining a deep connection to the local territory throughout his career.
