Favre Leuba releases limited edition Tytus-inspired watch

The Swiss watch manufacturer Favre Leuba, in collaboration with the Watch and Clock Enthusiasts Club (KMZiZ), has released a limited edition timepiece inspired by the iconic Polish comic book series ‘Tytus, Romek i A’Tomek’.

Created to commemorate a dual anniversary dating back to 1966—the year Favre Leuba introduced the Harpoon model and Henryk Jerzy Chmielewski (known as Papcio Chmiel) published the first Tytus book—only 66 units of the watch will be produced. The design features a dial textured to resemble vintage comic book paper, a depiction of the character Tytus at the 9 o'clock position, and an Alcantara strap with green stitching matching the character's shorts.

The watch is powered by an FLD04 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve and is housed in a 36.8 mm case with sapphire glass. The back of the case includes an engraving of Papcio Chmiel's portrait. The retail price is set at 10,700 PLN.
