Fawry and DMS partner to integrate POS systems with business software

Fawry, an Egyptian fintech leader, has announced a partnership with DMS, a provider of software and digital transformation solutions for the healthcare, financial, and industrial sectors. The collaboration aims to integrate Fawry Business point-of-sale (POS) solutions directly with DMS medical and operational systems.

This integration allows for the automatic synchronization of payment data. Transaction values are sent directly from cashier screens to Fawry Business POS devices, with status updates occurring in real-time upon completion. This automation is designed to reduce manual data entry errors, accelerate settlement procedures, and provide a smoother experience for both employees and customers.

Bassem Lotfy, Head of Business Development at Fawry, stated that the partnership aims to move beyond traditional payment methods by embedding solutions directly into daily business workflows to support digital transformation. Roua Mamdouh, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances at DMS, noted that the integration creates more interconnected and efficient operational processes for companies and hospitals.
