FAXXI art fair celebrates 15 years in Lo Barnechea

The FAXXI art fair is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a large-scale event scheduled for October 16, 17, and 18, 2026. The fair will be held at the Centro Cultural El Tranque in Lo Barnechea, Chile.

From a pool of over 250 applicants, 80 visual artists were selected to participate. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of artistic languages, including painting, textiles, sculpture, photography, drawing, collage, and ceramics. Many of the selected works explore themes of landscape, territory, nature, memory, and identity.

For the first time, the fair will utilize a hybrid format, offering both a physical presence and an online edition via its digital platform to reach international audiences and collectors. This expansion is supported by funding from the National Fund for Cultural Development and the Arts of the Chilean Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage.
