Fayetteville suspect in custody after shooting three women during carjacking attempts

A series of shootings and attempted carjackings in Fayetteville and Cumberland County, North Carolina, left three women wounded on Sunday morning. Authorities have taken a suspect, identified as Robert Page, into custody.

The incidents began around 7:00 a.m. on Messenger Street, where a woman was shot and transported to a medical facility in stable condition. Shortly after, two more shootings occurred during attempted carjackings in parking lots at a Hardee’s on Ramsey Street and a Food Lion on McArthur Road.

One victim, 24-year-old Izzy Dolan, was allegedly shot in the face during the incident at the grocery store parking lot. Page, a convicted felon, faces multiple charges, including two counts of attempted first-degree murder. He is currently being held without bond as the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office handles the investigation.
