Fayoum Governor officiates wedding for orphaned girl

Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, the Governor of Fayoum, attended and officiated the marriage contract and wedding ceremony for an orphaned girl from a vulnerable group. The event took place at the Aisha Hassanin Orphanage and was attended by Dr. Engy Hassan, Director of the Social Solidarity Directorate, and Dr. Ahmed Thabet, Head of the Central Administration for the Governor's Office.

During the ceremony, the Governor acted as the bride's legal guardian for the marriage contract. He expressed his congratulations to the couple, wishing them a stable life. Ghoneim emphasized that caring for vulnerable groups, particularly orphans, is a human duty rather than just a social responsibility. He highlighted the importance of state institutions and civil society working together to provide support and social empowerment to ensure a dignified future for orphans.
