Fazenda de la Esperanza and San Lorenzo mark local anniversaries

The Fazenda de la Esperanza de Santa Rosa in Argentina is celebrating its 16th anniversary. Founded in 2010 following a land donation to the Diocese of Quilmes, the center serves as a recovery facility for addiction. A thanksgiving Mass led by Bishop Carlos José Tissera is scheduled for August 16 in Florencio Varela to mark the milestone.

In Ecuador, the parish of San Lorenzo de Manta marked its 77th anniversary of parishization. During the commemorations, Manabí Prefect Leonardo Orlando highlighted infrastructure developments, including a USD 325,000 project to rehabilitate the San Lorenzo Lighthouse trail and stairs, which is currently 51.37% complete. The prefecture also noted support for local agroecological producers and artisanal fishermen to bolster the rural economy.
