Regarding their future, Yaakob stated that marriage requires careful preparation and time, as it involves the unification of two families including children. He expressed a desire to allow others, such as Syed Saddiq and Bella Astillah, to prioritize their own marriage plans before theirs.

In a recent romantic gesture, Yaakob surprised Vida at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) with flowers and chocolates after they had been apart for 18 days due to work commitments in Singapore and Jakarta.
