ÖFB and ÖBB collaborate on football talent and fan initiatives

The Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) and Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) are collaborating on initiatives to support football development and fan engagement.

The ÖBB Future Cup recently took place at the ÖFB Campus, featuring over 300 U13 players in more than 230 matches. The tournament utilized a unique format involving mixed-gender teams and games played without referees to allow young talent to showcase their skills to scouts. In addition to the sporting event, ÖBB provided career insights and vocational training demonstrations for participants.

Separately, Burgenland Tourismus, an ÖFB partner, has launched a competition offering two fans the opportunity to travel with the Austrian national team to Nations League matches in Ireland and Kosovo.
