Tetovo resident charged in joint FBI and MPB cybercrime crackdown

A coordinated investigation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FBI has led to the exposure of the administrator of ‘OLVX’, an illegal online marketplace. A 20-year-old individual from the Tetovo region, identified as E. A., has been charged by the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Tetovo.

Between 2023 and 2025, the suspect allegedly administered domains and websites for the OLVX platform, which facilitated the sale of stolen digital data, software tools, and services for cybercrime. Evidence indicates that over 1,500 stolen credentials for user accounts and computer networks were offered through the site.

Additionally, the investigation revealed that between 2025 and 2026, the suspect managed an illegal Telegram group named ‘ONEMILI’. This group provided tools for cybercrime, including scams related to illegal fund recovery. The suspect also faces charges regarding the production and distribution of child pornography found on the communication app.
