Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria arrested in US

Indian gangsters Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria have been taken into custody by US authorities in the Las Vegas area. Bhau, also known as Himanshu Ritoliya, was reportedly arrested by the FBI, while Faridpuria (also identified as Neeraj Kaushik) was apprehended by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after allegedly removing an ankle monitor.

Both men are currently being held at the Henderson Detention Center in Nevada. They are accused of using forged documents to obtain passports and assume false identities to evade law enforcement. Indian agencies, including the Haryana Special Task Force (STF), provided intelligence that facilitated the arrests.

Bhau is a high-profile fugitive wanted in India for over 30 criminal cases, including murder, extortion, and arms smuggling. He has been the subject of an Interpol Red Notice since 2023 and is a rival of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Faridpuria faces more than 25 criminal cases and has been linked to organized crime networks in the Delhi-NCR and Haryana regions. Indian authorities are now coordinating with US agencies to facilitate their deportation.
