FBI arrests NBA Ben10 and five others in connection with Houston shooting
The FBI has arrested six individuals, including rappers NBA Ben10 (Ben Fields) and OG 3Three, in connection with a shooting that occurred in April 2026 at a Houston restaurant. The operation, conducted in Texas and Louisiana, follows an incident where an attempted robbery of jewelry and a watch led to a violent confrontation.
During the altercation, rapper AllStar JR (Jeremy Christopher Ford) allegedly opened fire, hitting three people. Ben Fields, an associate of NBA YoungBoy, was shot in the spine and suffered irreversible paralysis from the waist down. While AllStar JR faces charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault, his defense maintains the shooting was an act of self-defense during the robbery.
Following the shooting, Fields had reportedly communicated with Ford via social media. The FBI has transferred Ben Fields to the Iberville Parish prison in Louisiana, and formal charges against the six detainees are expected to be released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas.
