FBI offers rewards for CJNG operative and Florida robbery suspect

The FBI has issued significant rewards for information leading to the arrest of two individuals linked to major criminal activities in the United States and Mexico.

A reward of up to $2 million is being offered for Griselda Margarita Arredondo Pinzón, described as a key financial operative for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Authorities allege she coordinated a massive fraud scheme targeting approximately 6,000 Americans who owned timeshares in Mexico. The scheme, operating through call centers, allegedly defrauded victims of roughly $350 million between 2019 and 2024. Arredondo Pinzón is also accused of managing the laundering of funds from fentanyl and methamphetamine trafficking.

Separately, the FBI is offering up to $50,000 for information on Alberto Pérez-Elias, a Cuban national wanted for his alleged involvement in a million-dollar jewelry store robbery in Cape Coral, Florida. The incident, which occurred in early 2026, involved suspects breaking through a wall from an adjacent building to access a safe. Authorities warn that Pérez-Elias should be considered armed and dangerous.
