FBI reportedly arrests man for TikTok threats against President Trump

Federal agents have reportedly arrested Ayden Langevin following the circulation of a viral TikTok video in which he called for an armed assault on the White House. In the video, Langevin urged individuals to arm themselves, gather in groups, and rush the White House with the explicit intent to kill President Trump and Secret Service personnel.

The video gained significant attention after being shared by the social media account Libs of TikTok, which tagged the FBI. Following the outcry, Senator Mike Lee publicly called on FBI Director Kash Patel to make an arrest. Reports indicate that Langevin was taken into custody by the FBI less than 24 hours after the video was amplified online. While the arrest has been reported by those who flagged the content, official federal criminal complaints or formal statements from the Department of Justice naming specific charges have not yet been made public.
