FBI seeks additional victims after Tulsa area man indicted for sexual abuse

Deleon Milford Cooks, a 24-year-old member of the Cherokee Nation from Tulsa, has been indicted on multiple charges including aggravated sexual abuse by force and threat, assault with a dangerous weapon, and kidnapping. Court documents allege that Cooks forced two victims to engage in sexual activity while placing them in fear of death or serious bodily injury. He is also accused of brandishing a firearm and strangling both victims.

The FBI and the Tulsa Police Department are investigating the case, and authorities are currently seeking to identify additional potential victims. Investigators believe Cooks primarily targeted women between 2023 and 2026.
