Fábio Bittencourt visits new Uneal Campus IV in São Miguel dos Campos
Acting Governor Fábio Bittencourt visited the new Campus IV of the State University of Alagoas (Uneal) in São Miguel dos Campos. The facility, which was inaugurated in September, represents an investment of R$ 12.5 million by the Alagoas government to expand higher education access in the state's interior.
The campus structure consists of three blocks: two for academic activities and one for administration. It includes 13 classrooms and two laboratories dedicated to chemistry and informatics. Currently, the campus serves approximately 250 students enrolled in Accounting, Portuguese, English, and Spanish language programs, supported by 24 professors and three administrative technicians.
Local officials noted that the campus serves students from several neighboring municipalities, including Teotônio Vilela, Campo Alegre, Boca da Mata, Anadia, Junqueiro, and Roteiro.
